Photography
Mark Zhu is a Chinese designer and photographer based in France.
He currently works as a typeface designer at Black[Foundry] in Paris, specializing in multi-script type design and typography, with a focus on Chinese and Latin. He holds an MA in typeface design from the University of Reading (UK), and a postgraduate diploma in typeface design from Ésad d’Amiens (France).
Besides design, he is also a photographer, specializing in street and travel photography. His photography work mainly explores the human interactions with cityscapes and urban history, as well as the human perception of space and time through these interactions.
