I have always been fascinated by amusement parks. The park rides, with their colorful and outlandish structures, create some of the most striking urban landscapes. The park goers let go of all kinds of emotions, which are further amplified by the colors, the sounds, and the movements of the rides. Together they form this vibrant and almost fantastical atmosphere that is uniquely charming.

This series of photos are taken at the Luna Park in Brookly, New York in summer 2018. Over the course of the summer I took multiple trips to Coney Island, to experience and to document this fantastical chaos at the park.
