A book examines the history of the city of Rome, Italy through its representations in maps from a variety of time periods and sources: tourist maps, archaeological maps, heat maps, abstract maps, geological maps, maps that analyze distributions of population in districts, maps that indicate locations of ancient Roman walls, maps that list participating organizations for specific events, etc. These maps are then organized in a way to compare and contrast with others, in order to illustrate changes, differences, similarity from the various perspectives of each map.
The book is hand-bound in the Coptic binding style. Pull-outs and various stocks of paper are incorporated to reflect the content.
